Duane "Pee Wee" Jones Sensei
Pee-Wee Jones Sensei began his aikido
training in 1973 under Saotome Sensei, and holds a 6th Dan in
aikido. He is dojo- cho of
ASU Sarasota, and teaches the morning and two evening classes per week.

Steve McPeck Sensei
McPeck Sensei is one of a group
of Saotome sensei's earliest students in the US who are still active in aikido.
He currently holds the rank of 6th Dan. He teaches the Thursday evening class.

Daryl Schrader Sensei
Daryl Schrader holds the rank of 5th Dan
in aikido. He is among the first personal students of Mitsugi Saotome Sensei
when he first came to Sarasota in 1975. He has studied several styles of
karate and Iaido. He is presently ranked 9th dan in karate. Daryl Sensei teaches the Saturday morning class, as well as
at the Aikido Dojo in St. Petersburg and USF-Tampa. He is a professor at
St. Petersburg College.

Tim Agnew Sensei
Agnew Sensei has trained under
Saotome Sensei and his most senior students for 19 years. Sensei Tim's
classes place an emphasis on proper ukemi (taking a fall). He currently holds a 2nd Dan in aikido, and teaches
the Monday night class.
Mike Finley Sensei
Sensei Mike began his aikido training in
1987 under Saotome Sensei and his most senior students. He holds a 2nd Dan
and currently teaches the Wed. night class and has been a loyal supporter
of the dojo.
