ASU Sarasota is proud to sponsor the 6th annual Florida
Rokudan Seminar. This seminar features 6, 6th degree black belt instructors from
Aikido Schools of Ueshiba. The purpose of this seminaris
to foster fellowship among dojos, provide a memorable
forum for testing black belt candidates from ASU dojos,
and to have these respected sensei share their
expectations and knowledge about what it means
to prepare for and become an aikido black belt.
This amazing weekend offers:
-A unique opportunity to test before a senior
examination committee
-Valuable black belt preparation instruction
and practice
-Six of ASU’s most senior instructors teaching
together
-The opportunity to meet your fellow Florida
Aikidoka!

Seminar Schedule:
Location: Girl’s Inc. 201 S. Tuttle Avenue Sarasota
Train: Sat. 10-12; 2:30-4:30; Sun. 10-12
Testing: After Sun. Keiko
Cookout Party: Sat. evening (times to be announced)
at the Sarasota dojo
Fees: $65 for the weekend ($40 for Sat. only;
$25 for Sun.)
Registration: PayPal, check, cash- but please
register early! See below.
Qualified shodan and nidan candidates
from any ASU dojo are invited to test. Testing
candidates must pre-register with their sensei by July 26.
